Bonnie received her Bachelor of Music degree from the University of British Columbia, Canada, in 1985. She has studied harp under Lanalee de Kent, Donna Hossack (a student of Marcel Grandjany) and Elizabeth Volpe and attended Master
Classes under Lucien Thomas and Jon Escosa.
Bonnie has maintained an active musical schedule performing harp in productions at the Cranville Island Arts Club Theatre, Vancouver Waterfront Theatre and the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. She has also played Principal harp with the New Westminster, Kamloops, Okanogan and Fayetteville Symphonies. Other performing features have been in the C.B.S. movie “Mrs. Delafield Wants to Marry”, starring Katherine Hepburn; a B.C. Tel commercial for television; The David Foster video, “The Symphony Sessions”, with the Vancouver Symphony; and aboard Holland American Cruise Ship Lines, the New Amsterdam, Rotterdam and the Noordam, sailing the Panama
Canal, Caribbean, and to Alaska.
Bonnie is frequently engaged to perform at business conventions, weddings, receptions and office functions. Bonnie also operates her own music studio, teaching both harp and piano. She has her diploma in piano from the Royal
Conservatory of Music and achieved the highest mark for her Piano Pedagogy exam in British Columbia in 1984.
